Who Are We?

General Power & Control Corporation has been representing manufacturers for the states of Louisiana and Mississippi for over 50 years.

With a sales staff of 6 outside salesmen and 9 inside sales and sales support and 4 warehouse team members, General Power & Control Corporation sells to the industrial, commercial and residential markets. We have a sales office located in St. Rose, in the New Orleans area as well as a sales office/warehouse in Geismar, in the Baton Rouge area. Our 25,000 sq. ft. warehouse is located at 5252 Gateway Drive in Geismar, LA 70734.

We build our business from a position of strength. This long-term philosophy mandates that we spend 50% of our sales and marketing efforts with end-users, specifiers and contractors.
